Intilaq is a competition for best business ideas for university students. It is organized by GIZ under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the support of Zain Iraq as part of its ZY program. As part of the competition, workshops were arranged at 37 universities focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership and teamwork. Workshops introduced students to the concept of entrepreneurship and its importance for the economy, design thinking and business models, in addition to helping them brainstorm and discuss their own ideas. Over 120 ideas have qualified to be presented to the judging committee, which will select the best 15 ideas that can move on to compete at the advanced workshop.
